 ​1. Can anyone who lives in Baltimore City Attend PORT VLP? Any high school aged student may apply to PORT VLP using the following email VLPEnrollment@bcps.k12.md.us. The enrollment date for PORT VLP has been extended until August 18,2022.

2. Does PORT VLP have a criteria to attend the school? Yes, the criteria consist of a combination of attendance and academic grades? Issues around health and other circumstances are taken into consideration when looking at if the student can be accepted into the program?

3. What if a student doesn't attend PORT VLP during the school year? If the student is dealing with Chronic absences then the academic team will meet with the family to see if a traditional school maybe a better fit for the student.


4. Who are the teachers at PORT VLP? PORT VLP teachers come from 15 different states to teach high level engaging lessons from their home state over a zoom application. 

5. How do I access class? Each student is able to access their class zoom links and schedules through schoology. Schoology is an app located in Clever that each student can use to communicate and submit all work during the day.


6. How do I get a hold of someone in the school? You can either call the main office at 443.642.5400 or click on the following document for an updated contact zoom list and phone number. CLICK HERE
